Arrival Instructions

From Narita Airport to Yokohama area

Narita Airport is the official international airport to visit Tokyo area.
The airport is about 50 km east of central Tokyo and several transportation systems are available. Ticket counters are located at the exit of the airport with English signs. Current exchange rate is 1 USD = 102 yen (April 4).

  1. TRAIN
    From Narita airport, you will take the "Narita Express " by JR (Japan Rail way) to Yokohama Station for 90 min.
    From Yokohama Station, you will take JR Negishi line to Sakuragi-cho station for 3 min.
    From Sakuragi-cho station to Pan Pacific Hotel, it will take 20 min to walk by walking escalator. Total fee is 4180 yen.
    Or, from Yokohama Station, you can go to the Pacifico Yokohama and official hotels in Sakuragicho station by taxi (about 1200 yen).
    There are many destination of Narita Express and going to Yokohama is not so many, about every one hour.

    Access to Pan Pacific Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu


    Access to Washington Hotel (only Japanese )
    You will get off the Sakuragi-cho Station(one exit ) and turn to left.
    You will see the tall brown building at the right.
    It takes only 1 min to go to the hotel from the station.
  2. BUS
    The other way is airport limousine bus & taxi. From Narita airport, you will take the Airport Limousine bus to Yokohama City airport terminal.(YCAT) for 90 min/ 3500yen.
    From YCAT to the hotel, the best and easy way is taking by taxi ( about 1200 yen ) The bus runs very often.

    Only a few bus runs between Narita airport to Sakuragi-cho area (called Minato Mirai district )

    If you can take this bus, you will get off in front of Pan Pacific Hotel. For Washington Hotel guest, please get off the Royal Park Hotel and take 7 min walk to the Washington hotel.

About Yokohama area

Yokohama is a big international city, 40 minutes away from Tokyo. Major sightseeing places include the Landmark Tower (highest building in Japan), Queen's Square (shopping mall), and Chinatown. Please check our recommendations.

From Yokohama Station to Pacifico Yokohama Annex Hall

All recommended accommodations are around Pacifico Yokohama Annex Hall.

  1. Use Minato-Mirai Subway Line
    From Minato-Mirai Subway Station, exit from the Queen's Square exit. Go up by two escalators to the second floor. It is 3 minutes' walk to Pacifico Yokohama Annex Hall.
  2. Use JR Line
    JR Sakuragi-cho station is next to Yokohama station (Keihin-Tohoku Line). Turn left at the ticket gate of the station (only one exit). You will see a big escalator on your left side, and it will take you to Landmark Plaza and Queeen's Square (shopping mall). 12 minutes' walk from Sakuragi-cho station to Pacifico Yokohama Annex Hall.
  3. Yokohama City Bus
    From Sakuragi-cho station, you can take a Yokohama-city bus at Terminal 4. Not recommended. (Walking is more convenient.)
